In November 2024, YHR Tanks proudly completed a cutting-edge food waste comprehensive treatment project in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. This project showcases our expertise in delivering sustainable and durable storage solutions tailored to the unique demands of organic waste management. Leveraging our industry-leading Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) bolted tank technology, we provided a robust and efficient system designed to support anaerobic digestion and biogas production, contributing to a greener future.
Construction Time: November 2024
Reactor Types: Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor (CSTR), Homogenizing Tank, Biogas Slurry Tank
Reactor Dimensions:
CSTR: Φ19.86m x 15m (H) x 1 unit
Homogenizing Tank: Φ7.64m x 7.8m (H) x 1 unit
Biogas Slurry Tank: Φ7.64m x 5.4m (H) x 1 unit
The Sichuan Chengdu project required a reliable and corrosion-resistant solution to handle the complex process of food waste treatment. YHR Tanks delivered three specialized GFS bolted steel tanks, each designed to meet the specific needs of the treatment process:
CSTR (Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor): With a diameter of 19.86 meters and a height of 15 meters, this large-scale reactor facilitates efficient anaerobic digestion, converting organic waste into valuable biogas.
Homogenizing Tank: Measuring 7.64 meters in diameter and 7.8 meters in height, this tank ensures uniform mixing and preparation of the waste material, optimizing the digestion process.
Biogas Slurry Tank: Sized at 7.64 meters in diameter and 5.4 meters in height, this tank provides secure storage for the biogas slurry, a byproduct of the digestion process, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
Our GFS technology, which fuses glass to steel at high temperatures, offers unmatched durability and corrosion resistance—key advantages for managing the harsh conditions of food waste processing. The bolted design allowed for rapid on-site assembly, meeting the project's tight timeline while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Superior Corrosion Resistance: The GFS coating ensures long-term performance in aggressive environments, making it ideal for food waste and biogas applications.
Fast Installation: Our modular glass fused bolted steel tanks enabled swift construction, completed in November 2024, minimizing downtime and ensuring timely project delivery.
Sustainability Focus: By supporting biogas production, this project aligns with YHR's commitment to environmental stewardship and renewable energy solutions.
Global Standards Compliance: Designed to meet AWWA D103, NSF/ANSI 61, and other international standards, our tanks guarantee reliability and safety.
